You Acupuncture Replace Prescription Contra- Depression Drugs?

I recently read a post while waiting at the doctors office entitled; "Can acupuncture revision prescription anti depression pain killers? " For some people it seems the answer will be yes.

In 2002 the That will released their findings on-board acupuncture and depression plus stated that acupuncture of treatment for depression was one of the beneficial of treatments and was first more effective in a particular depressive patients than pharaceutical medication. Several studies were said.

The drugs I am blabbing are drugs that carry manufacturers like Xanax, Alprazolam, Valium.   They are known as Benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines are medications of sedatives and muscle relaxants and as a consequence often used as anti-anxiety tablet.

Another group of contra- anxiety drugs with manufacturers like bastioned, isoprene and gepirone. These drugs are known as Azapirones.   They manage serotonergic neurotransmission and will never be know to be habit forming. Some of the known unintended effects are rare but feature confusion, headaches, nervousness, wooziness, increased depression, heart palpitation, dry mouth, and lap and muscle pains.

We all know from where drugs have side affects which now and again are worse than the way it is the drugs ares suppose for any man to which  makes acupuncture a welcoming alternative. But will some cash?

Studies

Sometime in 1998 the national Institutes of Health carried out a 16 week study when you are Acupuncture of treatment for Depression. The study that's supported by the NIH's office of Complementary treatment was conducted at a college education of Arizona under the direction of John Allen Expert degree, and with the cohesiveness of Acupuncturist Rosa Schyner.

The test was performed using two methods, one using targeted and specific acupuncture points used in Acupuncture of treatment for Depression and a few unrelated dummy points if you don't have known purpose.

This study group has been split in three groups sticking with the same receiving the Anti-Depression Kinesiology Treatment, the second group collected the mock treatment which included a final third group amassed no treatment and obtain a waiting list.

The results were published in the Oct 1998 issue of Mankinds Science, a journal keeping this American Psychological Society, as "Efficacy of Acupuncture In Getting rid of Major Depression in Women".

As a consequence of the Anti-Depression Acupuncture Treatment the unique group experienced a 43 percent lowering in their symptoms. When on top of the small 22 percent reduction gone through by the dummy group-- this percentage can be attributed to a natural 'placebo effect', this is an excellent indication of some great Acupuncture for treating Depression. After treatment more than half no longer met the factors for Clinical Depression.
